This is an O-scale (1:48) shipping container, equivalent in size to a real-world 20-foot ocean container — but it is intentionally not new-looking.

This container was deliberately finished to look like it’s been through years of hard service: multiple ocean crossings, rough handling, dents, rust, scrapes, and general abuse. That’s exactly the look we were after, because that’s what real containers actually look like once they’ve been in service.

Color is green, with heavy weathering throughout. Rust streaks, surface corrosion, dents, and worn areas are applied by hand. No two areas look the same, and it does not have a “toy clean” appearance.

If you’ve ever been around ports, rail yards, or industrial areas, this will look familiar.
