These 16-foot steel I-beams are short-span structural members commonly used in real construction for:

shorter spans, offsets, and edge conditions
custom layouts that don’t follow a rigid grid

They’re intended as building material, not a pre-designed kit. Just like real steel, how you use them is up to you.
