Every good layout has hazards, and every believable layout has fire extinguishers that look like they’ve been there a while. These take care of that detail nicely.

This is a set of five 1:48 O-gauge scale fire extinguishers, each one individually modeled and sized to look right in an O-scale scene. They’ve got the familiar cylinder shape, top valve, and hose detail so there’s no mistaking what they are, even tucked into the background.

They work perfectly in all the usual places — inside a shop, mounted near a doorway, next to a fuel tank, or leaning against a wall where somebody grabbed it once and never quite put it back. You can line them up neatly, or scatter them around like real life tends to do.

I made these for my own layout because it’s one of those small, everyday details that really helps sell a scene, and they’re surprisingly hard to find done right in O scale. Once I had them in place, they added that subtle “somebody thought this through” feeling, so I printed a few extra sets.
