This listing is for a set of five Cinder Streets asphalt road sections designed to create realistic streets that fit correctly on both O gauge and S gauge model railroad layouts.

Each road section measures 125mm x 250mm (approximately 5\\\\\\\" x 10\\\\\\\"), which scales to roughly a 20-foot-wide by 40-foot-long section of roadway. Used end-to-end, the five pieces create about 200 feet of street length at a realistic 20-foot roadway width.

The surface has the look and subtle texture of real asphalt — not smooth, not glossy — so it blends naturally into town streets, industrial districts, and railroad crossing scenes.

These road sections are fully compatible with Lionel and American Flyer grade crossings and are dimensioned to line up properly in both O gauge and S gauge layouts. They work seamlessly with Cinder Streets grade crossings and street accessories for clean, realistic transitions.

One of the biggest advantages is the ultra-thin profile. Each section is only 0.4mm thick, allowing smooth grade changes and natural transitions into track, crossings, and surrounding scenery without the unrealistic “step-up” found with thicker road materials.

The material is thin and flexible enough to cut cleanly with ordinary scissors, making it easy to custom-fit around buildings, angles, and odd spaces. No special tools required.

Optional matching sidewalk and curb sections are available separately and are shown in photos for layout examples. The sidewalk system uses realistic 4-foot sidewalk panels with a standard curb profile, designed to line up cleanly with these road sections for a finished street scene.
