LIGHTING & LEDs

High-quality lighting solutions and LED systems for your projects

Red Door lights-Fits Plasticville

These are working LED exterior door lights made to replace the original Plasticville clip-on lights used on schoolhouses, fire stations, police stations, and other civic buildings. They are replicated from original Plasticville parts, so they fit the original mounting holes and size, but unlike the originals, these actually light up. As far as we know, original Plasticville lights were never lit, and there are currently no other commercially available LED replacements like these. Details Set of 2 exterior door lights (one for each side of the door) LEDs already installed Approx. 14-inch wire leads Includes 1,000-ohm resistor Designed to run both lights on 12-volt AC LEDs run cool and are safe for plastic buildings Installation Lights snap into the original Plasticville mounting holes You’ll need to drill one small hole between the mounting holes to pass the wires into the building Use enclosed resistor before connecting to 12V. DO NOT CONNECT LEDs directly to 12 volt power. Final wiring inside the building is up to the buyer If you’ve added lighting to a Plasticville building before, this is straightforward. Made in the USA 3D printed in the USA Assembled and wired in the USA Not vintage originals, but accurate replacements with modern LED lighting What’s Included (2) LED exterior door lights (1) 1,000-ohm resistor Not Included Building Power supply If you’ve ever been missing those little Plasticville door lights — this replaces them and lights them up. Price is for 1 pair (2 lights)

O Gauge 12 volt AC adjustable lighting timer from 1 sec to 999 min Free Shipping

On a lot of model railroad layouts, I noticed something that always felt a little off: every light in every room of every house is on — all the time — and none of them ever turn off. That didn’t feel very realistic. So I put this together. This 12-Volt AC Light Timer is designed to add more natural, independent lighting behavior by automatically turning lights on and off in adjustable cycles. Instead of everything lighting up at once, you can have lights change over time — the way they do in the real world. It connects directly to a 12-volt AC output from a transformer and is equipped to handle that power safely, delivering a controlled output to your lighting circuit. It also works just as well with DC lighting systems. Fully Adjustable Timing Control Using the built-in buttons (Up, Down, Mode, Enter), you can set: • On time • Off time • Delay before turn-on • Repeating on/off cycles Timing is continuously adjustable from 0.1 seconds up to 999 minutes, so it can handle anything from quick lighting changes to long, slow day-and-night style cycles. Each timing parameter is set independently, giving you fine control over how the lights behave. Remembers Its Settings Once programmed, all settings are stored in memory. Turn the transformer off, turn it back on later, and the timer resumes cycling automatically — nothing needs to be reset. Quiet, Solid-State Operation This unit uses solid-state MOS switching, not a mechanical relay: • Completely silent operation • No clicking, arcing, or sparking • No electromagnetic interference • Long service life It’s designed to handle typical low-voltage lighting loads smoothly and reliably. Simple Connections • Input leads connect to your transformer’s 12-volt AC terminals • Output screw terminals connect to your lighting circuit No software, no computer, no special tools required. Important LED Note If you are using LEDs that are not already rated for 12 volts, be sure to use the appropriate resistor in line with the LED. This timer provides a 12-volt output, so your lighting must be properly rated to avoid damage. Features at a Glance • Works with 12-volt AC or DC systems • Timing range: 0.1 seconds to 999 minutes • Independent on/off timing settings • Silent solid-state switching • Emergency STOP function • Reverse-polarity protection • Automatic display sleep mode • Settings retained after power loss This is a simple way to add life and realism to lighting, instead of having everything stuck in the “always on” position.

Riverside “Raincross” LED Streetlight Kit – 1:48 O Gauge By Cinder Shops

Riverside “Raincross” Streetlight Kit – O Gauge By Cinder Shops This listing is for an O-gauge streetlight kit inspired by Riverside, California’s iconic Raincross streetlights. The Raincross is a long-standing civic symbol of Riverside, and the streetlights that feature it are a very distinctive and memorable design — truly one of a kind and unique to Riverside. These lights are instantly recognizable to anyone familiar with the city and are unlike streetlight designs used anywhere else in the country. They’re especially well suited for vintage, postwar, and mid-century street scenes and look right at home alongside Cinder Streets roads and sidewalks. This is a kit, but one of the more difficult steps is already done for you. The wiring is pre-routed through the lamp head, so assembly is straightforward. What’s included: Raincross-style streetlight kit (O gauge) Micro LED (included) Resistor (included) Wiring pre-installed through the lamp head Assembly required (super glue needed) The included resistor is set up for a standard 12-volt layout streetlight application. The LED itself can be used with other voltages as well — you’ll simply need to use the appropriate resistor value for your setup. Optional base available: Optional base and transformer available separately Allows the light to be used as a desk light or nightlight Plugs directly into standard household power when used with the base Why these are special to me: Before making model streetlights, I worked as an electrical contractor and was directly involved with the installation of these Raincross streetlights for the City of Riverside, including along the Mission Viaduct. That firsthand experience with the real fixtures is what led me to recreate them accurately for my own layout — and ultimately to offer them here. Notes: Streetlight kit includes micro LED and resistor as described Roads, sidewalks, bases, and other layout items shown are for example only and are sold separately

Redlands CA Historic Single-Head LED Streetlight Kit 1:48 Scale Cinder Shops

This listing is for an O-gauge streetlight kit inspired by the historic single-pole, single-head streetlights of Redlands, California — a design that dates all the way back to 1893, when electricity was first introduced to downtown Redlands. According to early newspaper accounts, these lights were among the city’s first electric streetlights, marking a major turning point in Redlands’ transition into the modern era. More than a century later, many of these same distinctive lights are still standing in Redlands’ historic neighborhoods, making them one of the city’s most recognizable and enduring civic details. The design is simple, elegant, and unmistakably historic. A single pole, a single lamp head, and proportions that feel right for the late 19th and early 20th century. If you’re modeling a vintage town, an early electric era, or a classic Southern California streetscape, this light instantly places the scene in the right time period. The proportions are correctly scaled for O gauge and pair especially well with Cinder Streets roads and sidewalks, as well as other vintage street and town accessories. This is a kit, but it’s designed to be easy to assemble. The wiring is pre-routed through the lamp head, so you’re not fighting tiny parts or threading wires through tight spaces. What’s included: Historic Redlands-style single-head streetlight kit (O gauge) Micro LED (included) Resistor (included) Wiring pre-installed through the lamp head Assembly required (super glue needed) The included resistor is sized for a standard 12-volt layout streetlight application. The LED can be used on other voltages as well by substituting the appropriate resistor value if needed. Optional base available: Optional base and transformer available separately Allows the streetlight to be used as a desk light or nightlight Plugs directly into standard household power when used with the base These streetlights are a defining visual element of Redlands and one of the city’s most iconic pieces of street furniture. Adding them to a layout isn’t just adding lighting — it’s adding a sense of place, history, and continuity that goes back to the very beginnings of electric street lighting in California. Notes: Streetlight kit includes micro LED and resistor as described Roads, sidewalks, bases, and other layout items shown are for example only and are sold separately are for example only and are sold separately

O Scale \\\"Dumpster Fire\\\" Animated Scenery - 1:48 Scale Flickering LED (12V AC)

We’ve all had those days where things feel like a total dumpster fire—and now, your O-scale layout can finally have one too. This isn\\\'t just a static model; it’s a fully animated, illuminated scene-stealer designed to bring a bit of gritty realism (and a little dark humor) to your industrial district or back-alley scenes. This is a classic green industrial dumpster, but the magic is what’s happening inside. I’ve integrated a custom LED control board with flickering LEDs that mimic the unpredictable, pulsing glow of a real trash fire. To make it look right, I’ve included a specially defined \\\"trash mesh\\\" that sits over the lights. It looks like a pile of discarded refuse, but it’s engineered to let that fiery orange and yellow glow bleed through perfectly. The best part for O-gauge modelers? This unit is fully set up to run on 12-volt AC power. You don’t need special adapters or DC converters—it’s designed to tap right into the same 12V AC accessory power that almost all O-gauge layouts already use. Just hook it up to your power bus and it’s ready to go. Whether you place it behind a factory, in a derelict city lot, or right next to your rail yard, it’s going to be the first thing people notice when you turn the layout lights down. It’s a true 1:48 O-scale piece that scales perfectly with Lionel, MTH, and other major O-gauge brands. I built this because most \\\"fire\\\" effects on the market are just a single blinking bulb; this has a depth of light that actually looks like something is burning deep inside the bin. Details: Scale: True 1:48 O-Scale Power: 12V AC Compatible (Standard O-Gauge Accessory Power) Features: Custom LED control board for a realistic flickering effect Includes: Green dumpster body and specialized \\\"trash mesh\\\" for light diffusion Ready to Use: Pre-wired and ready for your layout. Combined shipping is available! Buy $50 or more and shipping is free.
